By using LiveOne as a learner or provider you agree to these terms. If you use the platform on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept them for that organisation.

Sessions are live, 1-on-1, and billed from a 10-minute minimum. Time beyond the minimum is billed in the increments shown at booking, up to the maximum duration the provider offers.

Both parties agree to join on time. No-shows by a provider are refunded in full; repeated learner no-shows may incur the minimum session charge.

Learner payments are captured at booking and held in escrow by our payment processor. Funds are released to the provider after the session ends and the guarantee window closes without a refund request.

Escrow exists to protect both sides: learners never pay for a session that failed them, and providers are assured the funds exist before they teach.

If you are not satisfied with a session, you may request a full refund within 24 hours of the session ending. Approved refunds return 100% of the amount paid to the original payment method.

The guarantee covers session quality. It does not cover sessions where the learner did not attend, sessions cancelled by the learner after the provider joined, or requests made after the 24-hour window.

We may review session records when a refund is requested and may restrict accounts that repeatedly abuse the guarantee.

Providers may offer services from anywhere in the world, set their own schedule, rates, and minimum session length (from 10 minutes upward), and must accurately describe their expertise.

Payouts are issued on your selected cadence — daily, weekly, or monthly — to the account on file, after the guarantee window closes. Providers are responsible for their own taxes and local compliance.

No harassment, discrimination, illegal activity, sharing of exam answers for prohibited assessments, or recording a session without the other party's consent.

Attempting to move payment off-platform to avoid escrow and the guarantee is a breach of these terms.

LiveOne connects independent learners and providers; we do not warrant any specific outcome from a session. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the session in question.

We may update these terms and will note the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use after an update means acceptance. Questions: support@liveone.app.
